Hello there! My name is Amy Yen. This is my blog. 🙂

To tell you a little about myself, I’m from Dallas, & yet I’ve insisted on living in places with a much higher cost of living. I didn’t need those life savings anyhow. I recently graduated with my Masters in Integrated Marketing Communication from Emerson College in Boston, where I’ve been for the last two years. I did my undergrad work at the University of Texas at Austin (HOOK ‘EM!), where I graduated with a degree in public relations. In Boston, I worked as an integrated marketing coordinator at Schneider Associates. I’ve also done internships at the Lance Armstrong Foundation, GolinHarris, The Richards Group & the Muscular Dystrophy Association. I moved to LA this summer, because being warm is apparently more important to me than employment. Recently, I became a marketing specialist at Business Wire in west LA.

This blog is primarily focused on TV. I’m a huge TV fan, so you’ll see a lot of live-blogs of shows I’m particularly committed to. You can also check out everything I’m currently trying to watch in the tab titled TV Lineup. I’m also a big sports fan, advertising junkie & social media enthusiast, so you may see posts about those topics from time to time as well.

In addition to this blog, I write for Our American Shelf Life, where a few of my peers & I talk about what it was like growing up in the digital space and I’m also an occasional contributor to AdRants.

Partly because it was my first job in marketing and partly because I got to see firsthand what a truly good cause it is, my favorite nonprofit is the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Make a donation HERE.

I love feedback. Talk to me at amy.p.yen [at] gmail [dot] com .

You can also find me online on Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn. Feel free to friend or follow me. 🙂
