8:59 – Previously on Heroes, I will be writing my previouslys completely by memory since I will, at least for now, be switching over from Terminator on Fox after their previews. So anyway, previously, on Heroes, Future Peter goes back in time to shoot Present Nathan in order to prevent a horrible future. Instead, he manages to create an even more horrible future, i.e. the world being split in two & everyone dying. Jeez, wtg there, Future Peter. Also Sylar’s been captured by the company, but only after getting Claire’s ability, Matt is lost in Africa & Present Peter is stuck in Francis Capra (ahem, Jesse)’s body. Most of this is also Future Peter’s fault. Man, Future Peter sucks.
9:00 – Angela gave Sylar up for adoption! Touche! Who the hell is Bridget? That history thing is a really cool ability. OMG! Angela totally just fed that Bridget chick to Sylar! She is so evil! I love her!

I’m calling this a live-bloglet, I’m thinking it might be more of a reactions thing, i.e. I’m not going to try to say something about every scene. Grey’s has really let me down these last few years, so I’m hoping for a rebound.
UPDATE from after the show: I’ll warn you right now. This is not as coherent as these things usually are, because I mostly spent the time lamenting over how much I miss how this show used to be. Come back, old Grey’s! Come back!
9:00 – We open on Meredith & her floor plan o’ candles & her sad, sad voiceover & then, she’s in the hospital & yes, YES, I called it! There was an accident & Derek is totally dead. And then…Mere wakes up. Dang it. I guess freaking Derek is alive. Lame.

8:59 – Previously, on Project Runway, the designers embarked on an over-complicated challenge involving avant garde design, astrological signs, eliminated designers, previous season designers & Blayne & Terri getting auf-ed. Touche, Terri letting whining Keith drag her down.
9:01 – Apartment open. The designers talk about what they’re doing next. They’re wrong, of course. I’m so over the apartment open.
9:02 – Heidi comes out in this skin-tight short black dress. It’s way cute. She says she has some “special ladies” to introduce. Some older ladies come out. The designers interview that this is the mom challenge…but it’s not. (more…)

8:59 – Previously on Project Runway, okay, look. My fondness for Bones got the better of me. Unfortunately, it seems that Bones may or may not have jumped the shark with the psycho killer plot o’ lameness known as the de-regularization of Little Zach Addy. Whatev. Anyway, I did catch the last minute or so of Runway, where Trash Bag Stella was finally, mercifully auf-ed. Even Tim Gunn wasn’t that sad to see her go. Auf wiedersehen, Stella!
9:00 – Apartment open. Terri tells us about how she won’t miss Stella. +10 points for Terri.
9:02 – On the runway, Heidi brings out the models. Leanne chooses to stay with her model & Stella’s model gets booted. Heidi says there are “special guests” for their next challenge. It’s kicked-out designers! UGH! Stella! There’s no getting rid of her! (more…)

8:59 – Previously on Project Runway, no one made an impression on me. I’m trying to remember if I’ve ever not cared so much about a reality show cast through two episodes. Like at this point, you know what’d be really awesome? If one of them committed like a really horrible crime. At least then I’d remember them. Oh also previously, someone named Wesley was eliminated before I could start calling him Wyndam-Pryce, which I would have done earlier, had I known his name.
9:00 – Apartment open. Daniel (who I will now refer to as Faraday to amuse myself since I’ve been watching Lost reruns lately) expresses sadness that Wesley Wyndam-Pryce (hey listen, this season still isn’t doing it for me, I will reference other, better shows if I want to) is eliminated. At least he doesn’t sound surprised.
9:02 – Heidi comes out for model selection. Suede refers to himself in the third person again & chooses to stick with his model. Challenge time. Heidi tells them they deserve time off & Tim will meet them at the apartments & take them for a night out. The designers all interview thinking of places they could be going & I’m shaking my head…stupid, stupid designers! Come ON. It is, of course, a challenge. Have they not seen this show before?

8:59 – Previously on Project Runway, Christian was FIERCE! Also, the show was on Bravo, which it will be for one more glorious season before moving to the much less cool Lifetime, Television for Women. Let’s make this one count!
9:00 – This is Project Runway, says Heidi. Shots of Atlas, while the designers arrive & introduce themselves. Okay, guys, same deal as Top Chef…you can probably be expecting me to start picking up names by maybe episode 5. (more…)

9:59 – Blogging from LA this week. Previously on Top Chef…Spike was finally, FINALLY eliminated. Unfortunately, that means that Lisa was not, so she & the three legitimate contenders—Richard, Antonia & Stephanie—are heading to Puerto Rico. If you squint, you can finally see the end of this endless season.

Previously on Lost, the Oceanic 6 are totally in different places all over the Island. Hurley is with Locke & Ben, who totally gave himself up to Keamy, who totally wants to kill everyone on the Island. Kate & Sayid got captured by the Others while going after Jack, who is with Sawyer, going after Hurley. Sun & Aaron are on the Freighter with Desmond & like a bunch of C4. SO how to they, & not the others, get off the Island?
1.) Whoa, we’re opening in the flash-forward from the Season 3 finale? “We have to go back??” Also, who the hell is Jeremy Bentham? I totally think you just made that name up! And what horrible things happened the day they left?? Two hours, we better get some freaking answers.

8:59 (b/c yes, I am now on Central Time) – Previously on Top Chef, Spike & Lisa are inexplicably still around at the beginning of the episode. Restaurant Wars return. Team Disaster predictably bomb. And Spike & Lisa are inexplicably still around at the end of the episode. Which mean Dale is preemptively eliminated. Aw.
9:01 – Everyone is excited that they’re close to the final 4. OMG, one of Spike & Lisa is going to make the final 4. That is so wrong!

I’m trying something new. Live-blogging takes an awful lot of time, but there’s been such wonderful season finales lately that I want to find a way to put more content up. So starting with tonight’s 2-hour Grey’s season finale, I’m going to experiment with a live-bloglet, which is just a stripped down version of a live-blog. There will be less recapping and more quick-hit commentary. Like a live-blog, I’m putting down my thoughts as the show happens. See what you think.
1.) How does Mere & Derek keep getting these brain tumor clinical trial patients? How much time is passing here? That’s really depressing.
2.) Mere & Cristina talking depressingly in bed = awesome. Except that Cristina doesn’t want to dance or drink tequila, which is how you know something is seriously, seriously wrong with Cristina. God, I wish they would just move on from this storyline already. I miss Awesome Cristina.
