9:59 – Previously on Top Chef, Eugene made sushi…again. Ariane won…again. No I don’t get it either. Jamie was unlikable…again. Shocking, I know. Daniel put disgusting mushrooms in Carla’s salad & was pleased with a really, really bad dish. Bye, Danny!
10:00 – PS: The last 5 minutes of “Life” tonight? Were AMAZING!
10:02 – Apartment open. Ariane & I & America can’t believe she’s won the last two challenges. It is pretty shocking. Stefan & Fabio do dual interviews as Team Euro: Dorks Do America. (more…)

8:59 – Previously on Heroes, I slogged through an entire volume of this ridiculous show for you guys, I hope you know that. Also, (sigh) Hiro & Claire (sigh) got lost in time (SIGH) again, & Matt, Daphne & Ando found even more of Isaac’s magical death-transcending future-prediction sketches. Also? Sylar 1.0 is totally back & he totally killed Arthur. It was kind of awesome. Oh yeah, & the Formula was finally Catalyzed. Yawn. Whatev.
9:00 – We open in the future. Everyone’s flying. Oh wait, this is one of those annoying montages, this time of scenes from this volume. PS: the voice-over, luckily, appears not to be from Mohinder, but Sylar. The title is imposed on Arthur’s blood, soaked on the floor. He’s definitely dead…except…wait a second. Doesn’t he have Peter’s powers? And doesn’t Peter have invincibility (from Claire)? I guess the bullet is stuck in his head like the piece of glass was in season 1? Better not get him an autopsy. 9:59 – Previously on Top Chef, Amy went home to Dallas for Thanksgiving & then to Santa Monica for excellent company morale-building exercise/sales meeting retreat, both of which caused her to fail to live-blog Top Chef. Don’t think I’m happy about this…Foo Fighters? Rocco DiSpirito? It was good stuff! Also, everyone kind of treated Ariane like their cute, slightly pathetic little sister when she actually won some stuff & some people named Alex & Richard were eliminated.
10:01 – Apartment open. Melissa begins with an interview about being scared to go home. At least she doesn’t sound surprised. (more…)

8:59 – Previously on Heroes, Heroes killed off one of the few remaining non-eye-roll-inducing subplots on this life-force-draining, migraine-causing, ghost of a show. Also, poor Breckin Meyer & Seth Green must have done something really wrong to be subjected to be a party to the embarrassing Hiro/Ando subplot of lameness. Double also? Apparently we’re still saving the cheerleader. Jeez. Let it go!
9:00 – PS: Gossip Girl was really good tonight. XOXO!
9:01 – We’re still with Claire & Hiro, watching Kaito give baby Claire to HRG. Claire realizes who Hiro is. They both see totally adorable little kid Hiro, sitting there, playing a video game, with his adorable suit & adorable glasses. In broken English, grown-up-but-not-really Hiro asks to use the restroom. I am so tired. Meanwhile, as Kaito leads little kid Hiro away, he says, “Mamma,” causing Present Hiro to freak out & want to go looking for his mom. Who is his mom, anyway? I don’t remember if we know. Present Claire follows Present Hiro downstairs where we see little kid Hiro hug a pretty Japanese woman, who is apparently sick & can also apparently speak English. She tells Kaito that she is dying. Meanwhile, Present Hiro is smiling because he doesn’t understand English, while Present Claire feels awkward. Then Hiro’s mom brings up the Catalyst, which perks Claire’s ears right off of worrying about poor Hiro’s poor, dead mom. This cold open is like really long.

8:59 – Previously on Heroes, Amy came thisclose to giving up on live-blogging Heroes, because I don’t even think the writers know what’s going on anymore. Also, a lot of stuff happened and HRG is totally about to kill Sylar & Elle, except that, since they are the only two watchable characters right now, that would be an extremely stupid move.
9:00 – We open in the jungle, where Peter & the Haitian are fleeing from…something. I don’t remember. Also, Nathan is nowhere in sight. And? Still no powers. Touche.
